Amanda Brugel

(February 27 2010 - Toronto ON) Pointe Claire is a secluded community in this part of the island of Montreal that is known as"the West Island. The people who aren't familiar with this term often think that it's an island that's west of Montreal However, in reality it's a part of the city that's west. West Island is home to every aspect of Lachine west to the city of Lachine west. Amanda Brugel is said to have been born on the West Island. However, this isn't the truth. Brugel lived in Courtice close to Oshawa Ontario. She was determined to be a professional dancer but because of a huge increase in her height, she outgrew all of her dancing partners. The article she wrote about her experience revealed published by The Toronto Star that she is 6'1" tall and wears heels. When I grew out of male companions, that's when I gave up. Many former dancers turn to acting, and in the case of Brugel, it was a suggestion from the drama instructor at her high school which encouraged her to go in that direction. She was a teacher at the time who advised her to go after a role in the school's annual production. The student tried it out, and was eventually cast as the leading role for the role in Anne of Green Gables. She was given an Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to go to York University's Theatre Program and graduated in 2000 with a degree of Bachelor's in Fine Arts. In the last 20 years, the roles played by Brugel in the world of television and on the screen have been numerous. The character of Rita from the award winning show The Handmaid's Tale was her most notable. Brugel was the sole Canadian actor in the season 1 of the series and not seen much.
